Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the FinanceFirst Manchester website or enrolling in our programmes, you agree to be bound by these terms of use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services or website.

Services Provided

FinanceFirst Manchester provides educational programmes focused on financial literacy for children and teenagers aged 7 to 19. Our services are delivered through group workshops, individual mentoring sessions, and family learning experiences at venues across Manchester.

Enrolment and Payment

Programme Enrolment

Enrolment is confirmed upon submission of the online enrolment form and receipt of programme fees. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis within appropriate age groups.

Payment Terms

Full payment is required before the programme start date. We accept bank transfers, debit cards, and credit cards. Payment instructions will be provided in your enrolment confirmation email.

Cancellation by Participant

If you cancel more than 14 days before the programme start date, you will receive a full refund minus an administrative fee of £25. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the start date are non-refundable, though you may transfer to a future cohort subject to availability.

Cancellation by FinanceFirst

We reserve the right to cancel a programme if minimum enrolment numbers are not met or due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to an alternative date.

Participant Expectations

Attendance

Regular attendance is essential for programme effectiveness. If your child misses a session, we will provide catch-up materials, but missed sessions cannot be refunded or transferred.

Behaviour Standards

Participants are expected to engage respectfully with facilitators and other students. Disruptive behaviour that negatively affects the learning environment may result in removal from the programme without refund.

Parental Responsibility

Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring children arrive on time, are collected promptly after sessions, and have disclosed any relevant learning needs or medical information during enrolment.

Intellectual Property

All materials, content, and resources provided during programmes remain the intellectual property of FinanceFirst Manchester. Participants may use materials for personal learning but may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit programme content without written permission.

Website Use

Acceptable Use

You may use our website for lawful purposes related to learning about and enrolling in our programmes. You must not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or systems
• Introduce viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Use automated systems to scrape or copy website content
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Engage in any activity that disrupts website functionality

Content Accuracy

While we strive to ensure all information on our website is accurate and current, we do not guarantee completeness or absolute accuracy. Programme details, pricing, and schedules are subject to change. Always refer to your enrolment confirmation for definitive information.

Limitation of Liability

FinanceFirst Manchester provides educational services only. We are not financial advisors and do not provide personalised financial advice. Our programmes teach general financial literacy concepts and principles.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Financial decisions made by participants or their families based on programme content
• Indirect or consequential losses arising from programme participation
• Loss or damage to personal belongings at session venues
• Interruptions to services due to circumstances beyond our control

Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific programme in question.

Safeguarding

The safety and wellbeing of participants is our priority. All facilitators undergo enhanced DBS checks and safeguarding training. We follow appropriate safeguarding procedures and will report concerns to relevant authorities where necessary.

By enrolling your child, you consent to us sharing safeguarding-related information with appropriate authorities if required for child protection purposes.

Photography and Recordings

We may photograph or record sessions for internal training and quality improvement purposes. Images will not be used for marketing or published publicly without explicit written consent from parents or guardians.

Data Protection

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy and GDPR compliance statement. By using our services, you agree to data processing as described in those documents.
